Most common Huawei faults
Here are the faults Huawei owners come to us with most often, and what usually causes them.
Huawei won’t charge
Most often it is a dirty or worn charging port, a faulty cable, or a worn-out battery.
What you can check yourself: Try a different cable and charger. Carefully clean the port with a wooden toothpick, after switching the phone off first.
We inspect the port and the battery and, if necessary, repair or replace the port.
Battery drains quickly
Natural battery wear after several years, frequent heating, or charging up to 100%.
What you can check yourself: Check which apps use the most power and reduce the screen brightness.
If the capacity has dropped significantly, we replace the battery.
Screen is cracked or unresponsive
An impact, pressure or a drop. Sometimes the image disappears or lines appear due to internal screen damage.
We assess whether only the glass or the entire screen module needs replacing, and give you the price before starting work.
The phone got wet
Moisture can cause corrosion on the board, connectors and port, even if the phone works at first.
What you can check yourself: Turn off the phone, do not charge it, and do not heat it with a hair dryer.
We clean the inside of the phone and check whether the contacts have corroded.
Software errors
A failed update, system crashes or a boot loop.
What you can check yourself: Restart the phone and check whether there is free storage space.

Screen replacement: what is worth knowing
Many popular Huawei models, such as the P30 Pro or P40 Pro, have a curved OLED screen. Such a screen is more sensitive to impacts, and replacing it requires more care than a regular flat LCD screen.

If the screen is cracked but the phone still works, apply a protective film or clear tape as soon as possible – this keeps moisture and dust from getting inside.
Battery replacement
After two or three years of active use, a battery usually loses a large part of its capacity. Signs include: the phone discharges within a few hours, suddenly shuts down at 20–30%, or gets noticeably hot while charging.

Which phone models we service

Before you bring in your phone
If the phone still turns on, back up your most important photos and contacts. Also bring your password or PIN code if it is needed for diagnostics.

If the phone got wet, do not charge it or turn it on – bring it to a branch as soon as possible.
