Samsung phones are most often brought to the Kaunas branch for one of three reasons: a broken screen, a battery that drains quickly, or a port that no longer holds the charger. We repair these and other common faults at our Kaunas branch in Žaliakalnis; whether a specific fault can be fixed becomes clear after the phone is inspected.
On this page we have gathered what a Kaunas resident needs: how to find the branch, what to bring with you, how the repair works and when it is worth it. You can find general information about the entire Galaxy line on the Samsung Galaxy repair page.

Samsung phone repair in Kaunas: how to get here and what to bring
The branch is located in Žaliakalnis, on the Zanavykų market side, in the building that used to house a post office. On the other side of the street you will see the former „Pasaka” cinema, and next to it – the „Bzz” pizzeria and the „Grožio galerija” salon. You can find the branch’s contact details on the Contacts page.
We work Monday to Friday 9:00–18:00; the branch is closed on weekends.
- the phone itself – even if it won’t turn on or is broken;
- the PIN code or pattern, if it needs to be unlocked for diagnostics;
- the original charger and cable, if the fault is related to charging;
- a case or screen protector is not required, but let us know if one was fitted;
- a short description: when the fault appeared and whether the phone has previously suffered an impact or water damage.
General advice (not a branch service): if the phone still works, copy your important photos and contacts before bringing it in, for example by using the „Samsung Cloud” or the „Smart Switch” app.
How the repair proceeds, from diagnostics to price
First, an initial diagnostic is carried out – its time frame is up to 1 business day. This is not the duration of the whole repair: how long the repair itself takes depends on the fault and the model.
The price is given after diagnostics, which is why it is marked „after diagnostics” in the table. It depends on the model and the fault.
Some faults are easy to confuse. A phone that „won’t charge” sometimes simply has a clogged port, and a quickly draining battery can also be a software error. So there is no point in guessing in advance – it is better to have it inspected.
When it is worth repairing a Samsung and when to think about a new phone
A repair usually pays off when there is one clear fault: a cracked screen, a worn-out battery, a broken charging port, or a phone that fell into water and that you switched off immediately. If you are otherwise happy with the phone, replacing a single part often costs considerably less than a new device.
It is worth thinking about replacing it when the phone has not received software updates for a long time or has several faults at once. Before deciding, find out whether your model is still supported, for example in this article about the list of Samsung models.
A screen fault often depends on its type. We explained the differences between AMOLED and LCD in a separate article. If you have a device of another brand, see the general phone repair page.
If the battery has swollen, do not charge or use the phone until a technician has inspected it. A swollen battery can damage the screen and pose a hazard.
What to do right away, before you take the phone in
After contact with water, switch the phone off, do not charge it, and do not try to turn it on „to see if it works”. Do not try to dry it yourself – drying after contact with water is one of our services, and it is worth bringing the phone in as soon as possible.
A phone with a broken screen can only be used with great care: the shards can cut your fingers, and moisture and dust can get inside through the cracks. Cover the glass with clear adhesive tape and carry the phone in a case.
