Computer repair in Vilnius: what to bring to the branch
You can visit us from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00. The branch is closed on weekends, so if your computer breaks down on a Saturday, it is best to turn it off, put it away safely and drop by on the first business day.
If you have a laptop, bring the original charger: the fault is often in the charger itself or in the charging port, and this cannot be checked with someone else’s charger. For a desktop computer, the computer unit itself is usually enough; bring the monitor, keyboard and mouse only if you suspect the problem lies with them.

- a short description of the fault: when it appeared, whether the computer was dropped or had liquid spilled on it, or whether anything strange happened beforehand;
- any accessories the computer was used with, if they are related to the fault (e.g., an external drive or adapter).
If liquid has been spilled on your computer, do not turn it on to „give it a try” – turn it off, disconnect it from the power supply and bring it in as soon as possible.
What happens after you leave your computer
First, we carry out diagnostics, which costs €10, and we identify the fault within one business day. Then we tell you what is broken, what repair is needed and approximately how much it will cost. The decision whether or not to repair it is yours.
Some jobs cost little: for example, cooling system servicing (dust cleaning, thermal paste replacement) starts from €30, and speeding up a slow computer starts from €15. More complex jobs, such as motherboard or video chip repair, start from €40. Parts (screen, keyboard, drive) are not included in the price of some jobs, so we discuss their price separately, and their availability depends on the model.
According to the price list, a 2-month warranty applies to the repair or replacement of the casing, charging port, screen (matrix), keyboard, hard drive, motherboard and video chip, as well as to the fault inspection report. For computer speed-up services, the warranty is from 6 months.

When a computer is worth repairing and when it is not
The general rule is simple: if the repair costs considerably less than a similar used or new computer, and the device suits your needs, it is worth repairing. When the problem is dust, an old mechanical drive or a worn-out keyboard, an inexpensive repair can be a smarter choice than a new computer.
You should be more cautious with very old models for which parts are hard to find, or with computers after heavy liquid damage where several parts of the board have failed. That is exactly why diagnostics are useful: for €10 you get a clear answer instead of guesswork.
