What to bring with you
The most important thing is the phone itself. Choose the rest depending on the fault.
- The original charger and cable, if the phone does not charge or charges slowly – this makes it easier to tell whether the cause is their condition or the port.
- The screen lock code or password, if the technician needs to check that the camera, sound or touchscreen works.
- The „Apple ID” or „Google” account password, if theft protection is enabled on the phone – it is better to have it on hand.
- Leave the case or screen protector at home or remove it – they often get in the way of the inspection.
- The insurance policy number, if you need a fault assessment report for your insurance company (it costs €30).
What happens when you leave your phone for repair
First we carry out diagnostics – it costs €10, and we assess the fault within 1 working day. After that, we tell you what is broken and how much the repair would cost. We begin work only with your consent.
Screen replacement starts from €15 and battery replacement from €10, but the price of the part is not included in these amounts. When a phone is worth repairing and when it is not
A broken screen, a worn-out battery or a faulty charging port are usually cases where repair pays off: the phone otherwise works well, and the cost is considerably lower than that of a new device. For example, if the phone shuts off at 20–30%, it is likely that replacing the battery will be enough.
It is worth thinking about the value of repair when the phone has been splashed with liquid or hit hard and the motherboard may be damaged. In that case, the price depends on the extent of the damage, so it is best to carry out diagnostics first.
